QF IMAC TD1 Gel

QF IMAC TD1 GelQF IMAC TD1 Gel has covalently attached chelating groups which can be charged with the desired metal ions by the user. The attached tetradentate chelator TD1 is capable of forming stable complexes with transition ions such as Cu2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Co2+ and even Ca2+. The immobilized metal ions are able to interact with certain amino acids including; histidine, cysteine and tryptophan, if the amino acid side chains are sufficiently exposed. The retained protein can then be eluted from the QF IMAC TD1 Gel either with imidazole, or by lowering the pH.
